I call this image, "Change."  Change because my children are growing up so fast.  Changing from little drooling babies to big strong kids.  Changing from needing me to becoming more independent.  Changing from "me" teaching them life lessons to them teaching me how to live, how to love, how to see the world through their eyes...

Before kids, when I would hear an adult say "time flies by" I use to not believe them.  But once I had kids and started focusing on their development and celebrating their birthdays, it dawned on me when I hit 36 that oh my goodness, I'm OLD!?!?!?  Where did the time go?  There must be some mistake? 

Skylar loves to wear my red heels all over the house, stomping on the ground with her babydoll in her arms, acting like a mommy.  She is just like me when I was a kid.  I couldn't wait to grow up and have a family and have babies.  Now she's 7 and and my son is 5 and I just can't accept the fact that they are getting bigger and older!  It makes me so sad. 

Sad to release my grip slowly each day, but proud and confident that we are raising Godly children who will make changes and miracles in this world.  I don't want them to grow older but at the same time, I can't wait to see what they become!
